Webshire Kennels has always sought to produce excellence in our retrievers.  We don’t breed often, but when we do, expectations are high! This combination of Groove and Steamer is exciting because it combines many of today’s top field labradors.  So we expect puppies that will excel in the field.  But we especially look forward to the traits that make the Labrador one of the most popular breeds in America; true Labrador Retriever temperament is one of a kindly, outgoing, tractable nature; eager to please and non-aggressive towards man or animal. Both Groove and Steamer are classic examples of this description.  Steamer went 6 for 6 on earning his Master Hunter title and never handled on a mark.  He is such a team player that he would run with precision for anyone standing at his side.  Groove is as much a duck hunting addict as her owner and her eyes NEVER leave the skies when she’s afield.  Puppies from her first litter and just starting their formal training and proving to be as enthusiastic as their mom making them super fun to work with. We are expecting a very similar style puppy from this Groove x Steamer breeding, with adult sizes ranging from 55-65 pounds for females and 65-75 pounds for males.
